What's a shamanic healing session like?

Each person is different, and their own healing journey is dependent on their unique life experiences, dreams, and goals. During our sessions, I will receive spiritual guidance on what is the most beneficial healing modality for you at this point in your life. I will also do a scan of you and your energy field, to see what areas need healing or additional support. Your healing session will be tailored to your specific needs, through a weaving of Jaguar Shamanic Medicine, Curanderismo, and Core Shamanism. I will discuss what comes up in my diagnosis and will not perform anything without your express consent.

I recommend setting aside 2 hours for each session. Please have a glass of water with you and find a comfortable sitting position. If you like, you can light incense, use candles and do anything you need to set sacred space before our meeting. If a specific ritual requires additional preparation, I will instruct you ahead of time.

It is important to be in a private and quiet space for the duration of our sessions.

All of our sessions will be conducted through Zoom, and I will send you a secure link once:

• the intake forms have been completed
• the required fees have been paid
• the appointment has been confirmed

If you are interested in conducting a session in-person, let me know. You must be located in San Luis Obispo County and pay a travel fee, depending on the distance.

It is recommended to take some time for yourself after the session. You might want to take a nap, or eat some light food.

If we have not met in person, I offer a free 30 minute consultation through Zoom to see if we are a good match for working together.

How should I prepare for a session?

For our work together, it is essential that you to come to our sessions with strong intentions:

• What do you want your life to look like?
• What are your goals and aspirations?
• Are you willing to honor and release your previous stories and create a new story that is fulfilling and joyful for you?
• Are you ready to commit to being an active participant in your own healing, understanding that healing is a layered, ongoing process?

I will support you through the process, helping to release your soul from things that are holding back your true empowered expression, witnessing your story with compassion and understanding, and giving you tools to aid in your healing journey; however, the integration into your physical life, your commitment to doing the work, and following through, all depend on you.

A core teaching in Jaguar Medicine is that all the answers you are searching for, your own medicine and life fulfillment, are already inside of you. The Jaguar Shaman serves as a guide into your own cosmology, bringing the shadow and the light into equal balance, revealing your truth and power, awakening your inner spiritual strength and abilities to manifest the life that you want. I will do my best to help you, but only you can walk the path. Shamanic healing can only go as far as your level of intention and how you take care of yourself after each of our sessions.
